6. Where information is stored and processed

Information may be stored or processed in India and in countries where our service providers operate, including hosting, email, analytics, advertising, payment, scheduling, document, and communication providers. We aim to use reputable providers and reasonable contractual, technical, and organisational safeguards.

7. Sharing of information

We do not sell personal information for money. We may share limited information with service providers and platforms needed to operate the website, send emails, host files, process payments, schedule calls, manage campaigns, provide analytics, manage CRM or documents, or deliver client work. We may also share information with professional advisers, authorities, or parties involved in legal, security, fraud, platform, or dispute matters where required or permitted.

8. International transfers

Because we work internationally and use global service providers, personal information may be transferred outside your country. For EU/EEA and UK users, we aim to rely on appropriate safeguards where required, such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement/Addendum, or equivalent transfer mechanisms. More information is available in our Data Processing & International Transfers page.

9. Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, including enquiry handling, service delivery, accounting, tax, legal records, dispute handling, security, fraud prevention, and legitimate business needs. Enquiry records may be retained for follow-up and audit history. Client project records may be retained longer for contract, tax, reporting, or dispute reasons unless deletion is legally required and technically feasible.

10. Your privacy rights by region

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, and withdrawal of consent. UK users may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). EU/EEA users may complain to their local supervisory authority.

United States / California and similar state laws

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to know/access, correct, delete, limit certain sensitive information uses, opt out of sale/sharing, opt out of targeted advertising, and not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising rights. Use the Do Not Sell or Share page for opt-out requests.

Australia / Privacy Act 1988

You may request access to and correction of personal information. If we disclose information overseas, we aim to take reasonable steps to use appropriate providers and safeguards. RiseForge does not intend to collect consumer credit information unless specifically required for a service and agreed separately.

UAE

Where applicable, UAE data subjects may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, stopping processing, or data transfer, subject to applicable exceptions.

11. Consent and withdrawal

Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time by contacting us or using available preference tools. Withdrawal does not affect processing that happened before withdrawal.

12. Data breach handling

If we become aware of a data breach affecting personal information, we will assess the risk, take reasonable containment steps, and notify affected individuals, regulators, or other parties where legally required. For Canada/PIPEDA, this includes assessment of whether the breach creates a real risk of significant harm.

13. Children’s privacy

Our website and services are intended for business users and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

14. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational measures to protect information. No online transmission or storage system can be guaranteed 100% secure.
