Data Processing & International Transfers

1. Processing role
Depending on the service, RiseForge may act as an independent business/controller for website enquiries and client administration, and may act as a service provider/processor when handling client-provided data strictly to deliver agreed services.
2. Types of processors and service providers
- Website hosting and domain providers.
- Email delivery and communication providers.
- Form, CRM, scheduling, document, and project-management tools.
- Payment, invoicing, accounting, and tax tools.
- Advertising platforms such as Meta, Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, or marketplace tools when used for client campaigns.
- Analytics and consent-management tools if enabled.
3. International transfer safeguards
Where EU/EEA or UK transfer rules apply, RiseForge aims to use appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement/Addendum, processor contracts, access controls, and limited-purpose processing where reasonably available and appropriate.
4. UAE, Canada, and Australia cross-border handling
For UAE, Canada, and Australia-related personal information, RiseForge aims to disclose cross-border processing in the Privacy Policy, use reputable providers, limit access to what is necessary, and take reasonable steps to protect information handled outside the user's country.
5. Client responsibilities
Clients who provide customer lists, leads, pixels, ad account access, CRM data, or employee/candidate information must ensure they have the right consents, notices, permissions, and legal basis before sharing that information with RiseForge.
